So I'm leaving in about five minutes to go on an eight day road trip around the North Island with four other people. We're sort of a mini-United Nations as we hail from Germany, America, China, Canada, and France. I've just driven the rental car here on the left side of the road and it's one of the most mentally draining and stressful things I've ever done. I'm told you get used to it. Anyways, headed through Napier, Taupo, Bay of Plenty, through Auckland and into the Northlands, then back down again. We're going to sleep in tents on the beach as much as possible. I'm a bit nervous as we're sort of winging it, but my biggest concern is getting back in one piece what with the driving. I have another kid to switch off with. Anyways, I have to get going, sorry for the lack of posts but I'm doing well and will have a lot to write about on Tuesday. Say hello to America for me.
