A Quick One

Afternoon. About a week later and I'm writing from the Kelburn Campus of Victoria University, Wellington, New Zealand. I'm afforded a beautiful view of the harbor from here (although it is a bit cloudy...it's winter and all. Blowing your mind?) The lack of posts in the last week can be attributed to my lack of internet access since I've arrived here. I'm finally able to use the school internet and am waiting for my flat to be secured with broadband services. In keeping with their reputed "laid-back, casual nature", the (nevertheless friendly) kiwi internet people won't be installing the equipment until Monday. A laid back culture sounds great until you're the one in a rush. Anyways, I'm alive and kicking my Jet lag and disorientation and will probably be all situated when I post a long, bloated, picture-studded and detailed blog post on Monday night. That's Monday night for me, so probably around 4 a.m. Monday for all you fine Americans. Just wanted to check in and give a quick update and a sort of teaser for my monster blog post to come. Quick tidbit before I sign off here...I discovered last night that Kiwi grocery stores don't have frozen meatballs. Mind-blowing. Let that blow your mind until Monday or so. Talk to you then.
